1U Datacenter PDU -- the top of the power ladder. Same wiring shape as every other tier (one grid "in" port, switched outlets) at six times the heavy-duty tier's power budget.

12 outlets, 1500W total capacity -- enough headroom to run several of the rack's biggest draws (an AI Server's 900W ceiling, a maxed Crypto Rig's four-figure peak, a fully-loaded NAS or Game Server) off a single unit, or to sit as the root of a chain feeding multiple smaller PDUs.

Still a shared chain: every outlet's load stacks against the same 1500W ceiling and the same grid slot. There's no tier where capacity stops mattering -- this one just moves the wall the furthest out available today.

The same sustained-overload fire hazard applies here too -- at this power level, with up to 12 outlets in use, a runaway chain is the single worst-case fire event in the game. Headroom matters most here, not least.

Its 12 outlets aren't limited to feeding devices in its own rack -- cross-rack cabling lets this chain power devices racked in a second, physically separate rack over a real cable link, treated identically to local power everywhere it matters.

Tip: this is the rack-defining purchase once you're running genuinely heavy gear (AI Server, Crypto Rig, a well-populated Game Server) as a matter of course rather than as a one-off experiment.

Takes the Redundant PSU upgrade ($1800, Inspector → Upgrades): on power distribution the new port is an inlet, IN2, not a supply. Feed it from an independent PDU/UPS and this unit rides out losing its primary feed. That matters most when this unit is CHAINED behind another PDU rather than wired to its own grid slot -- chained gear is a single point of failure for everything plugged into it. Note it protects THIS unit, not the devices on its outlets: those still go dark if this unit itself fails, so they want their own second supply too.
