Crypto Rig starter -- negligible idle draw, enormous headroom once mining. The gap between its 10W typical and 1000W max is the widest of any device in the roster; power planning for this one is really about the mining state, not the idle state.
10W typical, up to 1000W under load, dual PSU ports (wire both if you want the full load capacity actually available, not just the port count).
Mining rates: Eco 0.4 coin/hour, Balanced 0.8 coin/hour, Turbo 1.2 coin/hour with LBC (the fixed $/hour target divided by whichever coin's price -- a cheaper coin mines proportionally more raw coin for the same real money) -- genuinely slow by design, not a bug. A payout lands every 60 seconds, banking as much accrued coin as the NAS share's free space holds -- anything that doesn't fit is held (never lost) until you transfer coins out of the vault or grow the share, and the Reason line says "NAS share is full" while it waits. The rig's own inspector shows a live "Next payout" countdown and pinpoints exactly what's missing if it isn't mining.
A Hash Board is a real hardware axis on top of the profile above: 3 sequential tiers (buy Tier 1 before Tier 2, and so on), each a straight multiplier on whatever rate the profile above already gives -- 1.25x, 1.6x, then 2.0x. A jumper switch lets you suspend it (drops back to 1x) without losing the tier you already bought.
Four things ALL have to be true before this rig mines anything: (1) real power reaching it -- wiring to a PDU/UPS is not enough, that PDU/UPS also needs its OWN power switch on (fresh PDUs and UPSes have arrived already switched on since the 2026-08-21 update, but one that has been turned off stays off); (2) a network link with a working IP and no fault; (3) a NAS share enabled for this rig on an online NAS with free space -- a newly-enabled share now defaults to a small working size rather than 0, but an explicitly 0-sized or full share still mines nothing, and says so; (4) mining actually toggled on in this rig's own inspector. Whatever is missing, the inspector's Reason line names it.
Mined coin never appears as spendable money by itself. It lands in the NAS vault first, then has to be manually Transferred into the Wallet's crypto holdings, then manually Sold/Converted (Wallet -> Overview or Wallet -> Markets) at the live market price into spendable Lab Credits. Each step is a separate button press -- skipping the last two is the single most common reason a rig looks like it's mining but the wallet balance never moves.
The Wallet's Markets tab is a real buy/sell exchange at the live price (a straight cash-for-coin trade, no NAS vault involved) plus a Pump Predictor mini-game -- stake held coin on a 15-second up/down price call, 1.8x payout if right, stake lost if wrong.
Tip: because idle draw is so low, it's tempting to rack one early on a starter PDU -- just remember the load jumps by two orders of magnitude the moment mining actually starts, so plan the PDU/grid capacity for the mining number, not the idle one.

Ships with two power inputs, psu0 and psu1 -- the only device that does, so it needs no Redundant PSU upgrade. Wire them to two DIFFERENT PDUs or UPS units and the rig keeps hashing when either one dies. Both cables into the same PDU protects nothing. See Redundancy & Failover.
