1U Server

1U Server -- general-purpose compute with no specialized hardware profile. Just a power port and a NIC; whatever job it does comes entirely from what you wire it into and what contract or system you point it at.

20W typical draw, modest 500W ceiling -- cheap to power, cheap to network, nothing exotic to budget around.

The default answer to "I need something online" before a contract calls for anything fancier -- a Client Contract that just needs a device present and reachable doesn't care whether it's this or an AI server.

Tip: because it has no special stat block, it's the safest device to rack early while you're still learning the power/network wiring loop -- nothing about it can surprise you the way an AI server's draw or a crypto rig's mining curve can.
