1U PDU 1500
The 1U PDU 1500 is the top PDU tier. It feeds 1,500 W, a whole wall circuit, from one rack unit.

When you need it
Hash boards and loaded servers draw hundreds of watts each. A rack of mining frames or a full hosting stack wants the PDU 1500 at its root.
Mind the circuit
A PDU can only pass on what its feed gives it. A wall circuit is rated 750 W in a Starter Den, 1,500 W in a Spare Room and 3,000 W in a Machine Room. Sustained overload trips that circuit's breaker and every outlet on it goes dead until it resets. Upgrade the lab tier, or spread the load over both circuits in the room.
How it works
The same as every PDU: IN from a wall outlet, strip, PDU or UPS; nine OUT sockets to device PSUs; chained units pool their capacity and their load. Past its rating it first risks fire, then pops its breaker.
Upgrade a smaller PDU in place from its HARDWARE tab, or buy one from the VENDOR.
